Most of the ater is in the oceans or locked aay as ice.The largestvolumes of fresh ater are stored underground as groundater,imagine there isonly one barrel of ater in the orld,then there is only a spoon of it on theland,and the ater e can use is only a drop of it.No I have to remind all ofyou here that the single drop of ater is never as Clean as before,it has beenpolluted severely by our human beings.

There is a very beautiful river in Paris.It is the Seine,it runs across theCity,people drink coffee, chat on the bank in the day,at night,they enjoy thebeautiful scenery in the boat,songs from the river fly into the Sky made theriver more attractive, the Seine is a famous symbol of France;on the est coastof pacific ocean there lies the modern City Shanghai,anot ther river hich usedto be a very important transportation route runs through the center of thecity,people respected and regard it as"mother".It is the"suzhou river,but lbelieve that fe of you ould sit beside it,people ill be scattered by theterrible smell of ater hen alk by.I have to say it is extremely dirty! And eall kno that a lot of beautiful rivers in the orld also are Sharing the samefate ith suzhou river.

Many human activities and their by-products have the potential to polluteater. Please have a look along the banks of the river, large and smallindustrial enterprises discharge dirty ater, tons of garbage ere thron intothe river, the ater contained so much that it can't clean itself. Compared iththe dramatic development in many sides of Shanghai, the suzhou river has beea black point of the appearance of city.

Fortunately, the government has control the situation no, e are happy tosee some parts of the river has bee clean again, and e even can find fishsometime.

The unique earth is the only pla full of lives, the ater is just likethe blood in the active body, protecting ater is saving ourselves. Not to astea single drop of ater, otherise, the only drop of ater e could keep in thefuture ould be our tear!
