A culture creats a city, the ater and soil bring up the people. At thefoot of Erlang mountain, in the middle of Sichuan province, lies a small tonnamed Tian Quan. I am proud to say: it is my hometon.

Wherever I go, Tian Quan stays in my deep memory forever. I can not fetthe place here I as born and gro up, I can not fet the place heresurrounded by green mountains and ater, I can not fet the good and honestpeople ho orking hard in there, I can not fet every river, every streetthere.

Standing at the of the WenBi mountain, you ill catch a bird’s eye vieof the hole Tian Quan. You ill find it is a beautiful picture including themordern colour and old smell.

Looking at the lovly provious animals , such as panda, Takin, Goldenmonkey. You ill thinks the nature has special poer to make life soonderful.

My hometon has a long history of culture. There is thetea-horse-aient-ay, hich attracts Chinese and foreign tourists to visit .Walking on the tea-horse-aient-ay, you can’t help sign in regret ho long ourculture is!

Tian Quan is also famous for it’s culture of tea. In summer , the farmersork on the tea plantations, you ill regard it as a lively picture. If you havea chance to ork on the tea plantations, you can’t miss it! You can enjoy thetea and learn more about tea at the same time .Ho onderful it is!

I ant to say a song for my hometon, but I don’t kno hat kinds of musicis fit for her, I ant to rite a poem for her, but I don’t kno hat ords candescribe her.

Everyday is a ne beginning , put you hands together , give a smile to theland, say a ords to Tian Quan : you ill in my heart , forever.

My name is Dongqi Yang from china, I am horror to be here today and I amvery happy to receive this aard.

As you can imagine, as international students in Australia, the biggestchallenge is English,

I remembered that hen I e here first time, there is a party in thehouse of my home stay. During the time, they played jokes and they laughed allthe time, do you kno ho embarrassed that is, everyone laughed except you. So Ipretend to understand the joke in another party, I sa everyone laugh and Ilaugh too in 5 seconds later. My home stay as surprised about that and asked me“do you understand?”， and I ansered “no”， “So hy do you laugh?” ”because I donot ant to be embarrassed”!

But as I receive this aard today, I ant to thank to them, because theyencourage me to be involved ith the mittee rather than staying in at home,play puter and speak Chinese.

When I came to Wantirna College first time, I met liz collar ho isinternational student coordinator. She is very kind to me, and she encourage mejoin SRC, I ent to SRC meetings regularly all the time, but I didn’t even knohat SRC as! That is the reason hy I told her, I don’t ant to go to SRCanymore. But she said “hy not? You should go and you have to go!”I asked” hy?”she said:” because I said so!”

But as ii receive this aard today, I ant to thank her. She helps me alot.

Truth be told, I am not the best student in Wantirna College, but Iappreciate this aard and I ill try my best in future.
