feel ith your body and spirit, and see if you can sense the freshness inthe air. Yes, yes, yes, it’s a ne day, it’s a different day, and it’s a brightday! And most importantly, it’s a ne beginning for your life, a beginning hereyou are going to make ne decisions, take ne actions, make ne friends, andtake your life to a totally unprecedented(空前的) level. In your mind’s eye, youcan see clearly the things you ant to have, the paces you intend to go, therelationships you desire to develop, and the positions you aspire(励志) to reach. You can hear your laughters of joy and happiness on the day hen everythinghappens as you dream. You can see the smiles on the people around you hen themagic moment strikes. You can feel your face is getting red, your heart isbeating fast, and your blood is rushing all over your body, to every singlecorner of your being! You kno all this is real as long as you are confident, passionate and mitted!(效忠的) And you are confident, you are passionate, youare mitted! You ill no longer fear making ne sounds, shoing ne facialexpressions, using your body in ne ays, approaching ne people, and asking nequestions. You ill live every single day of your life ith absolute passion, and you ill sho your passion through the ords you speak and the actions youtake. You ill focus all your time and effort on the most important goals ofyour life. You ill never suumb(屈服,屈从) to challenges of hardships. You illnever aver(动摇) in your pursuit of excellence. After all, you are the best, andyou deserve the best! As your coach and friend, I can assure you the door to allthe best things in the orld ill open to you, but the key to that door is inyour hand. 励志英语演讲稿范文2
We are the orld ,e are the future!
Someone said “e are reading the first verse of the first chapter of abook, hose pages are infinite”. i don’t kno ho rote these ords, but i’vealays liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything e ant it tobe. e are all in the position of the farmers. if e plant a good seed ,e reapa good harvest. if e plant nothing at all, e harvest nothing at all.
We are young. “ho to spend the youth?” it is a meaningful question. toanser it, first i have to ask “hat do you understand by the ord youth?” youthis not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. it’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. it’s the matter of the ill. it’s the freshness of thedeep spring of life.
A poet said “to see a orld in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a ildfloer, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. severaldays ago, i had a chance to listen to a lecture. i learnt a lot there. i’d liketo share it ith all of you. let’s sho our right palms. e can see three linesthat sho ho our love.career and life is. i have a short line of life. hatabout yours? i ondered hether e could see our future in this ay. ell, let’smake a fist. here is our future? here is our love, career, and life?” tellme.yeah, it is in our hands. it is held in ourselves.
We all ant the future to be better than the past. but the future can gobetter itself. don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. from thepast, e’ve learnt that the life is tough, but e are tougher. e’ve learnt thate can’t choose ho e feel, but e can choose hat about it. failure doesn’tmean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different ay.failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder.
As hat i said at the beginning, “e are reading the first verse of thefirst chapter of a book, hose pages are infinite”. the past has gone. nothinge do ill change it. but the future is in front of us. believe that hat egive to the orld, the orld ill give to us. and from today on, let’s be theoners of ourselves, and speak out “e are the orld, e are the future.”
励志英语演讲稿范文3
It is such an honor and pleasure for me to be back at Yale, especially onthe oasion of the 300th anniversary. I have had so many memories of my timehere, and as Nick as speaking I thought about ho I ended up at Yale LaSchool. And it tells a little bit about ho much progress e’ve made.
What I think most about hen I think of Yale is not just the politicallycharged atmosphere and not even just the superb legal education that I received. It as at Yale that I began ork that has been at the core of hat I have caredabout ever since. I began orking ith Ne Haven legal services representingchildren. And I studied child development, abuse and neglect at the Yale NeHaven Hospital and the Child Study Center. I as lucky enough to receive a civilrights internship ith Marian Wright Edelman at the Children’s Defense Fund, here I ent to ork after I graduated. Those experiences fueled in me a passionto ork for the benefit of children, particularly the most vulnerable.
When I as thinking about running for the United States Senate-hich assuch an enormous decision to make, one I never could have dreamed that I ouldhave been making hen I as here on campus-I visited a school in Ne York Cityand I met a young oman, ho as a star athlete.
I as there because of Billy Jean King promoting an HBO special about omenin sports called “Dare to pete.” It as about Title IX and ho e finally, thanks to government action, provided opportunities to girls and omen insports.
So, dare to pete, yes, but maybe even more difficult, dare to care. Dareto care about people ho need our help to sueed and fulfill their on lives. There are so many out there and sometimes all it takes is the simplest ofgestures or helping hands and many of you understand that already. I kno thatthe numbers of graduates in the last 20 years have orked in munityanizations, have tutored, have mitted themselves to religiousactivities.
Community service and religious involvement being up. But if you look atthe area of voting among 18 to 29 year olds, the numbers tell a far moretroubling tale. Many of you I kno believe that service and munityvolunteerism is a better ay of solving the issues facing our country thanpolitical engagement, because you believe-choose one of the folloing multiplesor choose them all-government either can’t understand or on’t make the rightchoices because of political pressures, inefficiency, inpetence or big moneyinfluence.
Well, I admit there is enough truth in that critique to justify feelingdisconnected and alienated. But at bottom, that’s a personal cop-out and anational peril. Political conditions maximize the conditions for individualopportunity and responsibility as ell as munity. Americorps and the PeaceCorps exist because of political decisions. Our air, ater, land and food illbe clean and safe because of political choices. Our ability to cure disease orlog onto the Inter have been advanced because of politically determinedinvestments. Ethnic cleansing in Kosovo ended because of political leadership.Your parents and grandparents traveled here by means of government built andsubsidized transportation systems. Many used GI Bills or government loans, as Idid, to attend college.
No, I could, as you might guess, go on and on, but the point is to remindus all that government is us and each generation has to stake its claim. And, asstakeholders, you ill have to decide hether or not to make the choice articipate. It is hard and it is, bringing change in a democracy, particularlyno. There’s so much about our modern times that conspire to loer our sights,to eaken our vision-as individuals and munities and even nations.
It is not the vast conspiracy you may have heard about; rather it’s asilent conspiracy of cynicism and indifference and alienation that e see everyday, in our popular culture and in our prodigious consumerism.
And I leave these graduates ith the same message I hope to leave ith mygraduate. Dare to pete. Dare to care. Dare to dream. Dare to love. Practicethe art of making possible. And no matter hat happens, even if you hear shoutsbehind, keep going.
Thank you and God bless you all.
