I’m very honored to stand here and give you a short speech! my ic isOpportunities and Challenges.

First, I ould like to kno, hat does your destiny offer you? Happiness,isdom, a strong body or something else. If I had asked this question resident Nixon, he ould probably had said,”Our destiny offers not the cup ofdespair, but the chalice of opportunity.”

Needless to say, one of the biggest opportunities given to China is the2015 Olympic Games. Till no, e have used to sevenths of the preparation time.Ho much changes have you seen? Ne roads, ne subay lines, public-exercisingequipments ith beautiful colors, large blocks of grass fields, and also lots ofmodern gyms hich are under construction.

Other than those, there are even more good effects brought to us by theOlympic Games that cannot be seen directly. For example, more and more peopleill get to kno China. I’m sure the mysterious Chinese culture ill attractthem strongly. And the games ill also do good to the economy and environment,for it is gaining the attention of foreign investors and the aareness ofenvironmental protection is being strengthened. What is more, Olympic Games givea unique opportunity to inspire and educate a ne generation of Chinese youthith the Olympic values and the Olympic spirit. No that e have seen so manyadvances, could you even imagine us losing the holding rights?

I’ve already said a lot about the Olympics and China. But I think everyoneshould use some time to think of this question, ”Does the Olympic Games have anyspecial meaning to you?”

For us, I mean the Chinese youth, 2015 Olympic Games is a tremendous gift.Because hat e are aiting for is to do something significant as repaying thelove given to us .The society is just like a ship, and in our dreams the captainis aving his hand and saying ”Hey! Come here and take the helm! ”Ho charminghis voice is, but e have never heard of it in our true life. This morning,hoever, hen e ake up, e ill see the Olympic Games aving its hand. Aftercheing, most of us ill have at least one plan about hat to do for the OlympicGames. And mine is to be a “forter” ----that is someone ho ill give fortto others.

At the end of my speech, I hope all the preparation ill go ell, andeveryone ill sho their ability to the orld. Let us seize opportunities andgive a big smile to challenges.

I have alays admired the long healthy life my grandparents have. They areolder than 80 years of age and they are still alive and kicking! Ho do they dothat!? My grandparents plant vegetables and gro rice themselves; even in theirold age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is hy they can remainhealthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much fromlife. Perhaps that makes them mon, but they live a happy life. My grandmotheronce told me this:” I do not ant to live long, only long enough for some grandchildren to be running around in my house”. I ant to live a long, healthy andhappy life just as they have.

Since my graduation from primary school, until no, every time on mybirthday I make the same ish. I ish my parents ill not fight anymore. I amnot plaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I amunhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me ithall their heart. I love my parents also; I ant them to live a happy life asell.

I ant to travel this great country of ours. I ant to see the beauty ofour country. I ant to see the miracles that made this country great! I ant togo from the east to est, from the north all the ay don to the south! I have adream, that one day I can travel and see my country ith my family and friends!If that is not possible, seeing my country on my on is good enough also. If Ican fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me aay. I ouldbe happy, and l ould have lived a full and prosperous life.

Sometimes,I think my father as a philosopher,sometimes think he is aactivists,alays set an example for his child ,do hat a father should do.He isalays orking hard to feed large family, he is alays considerate to fivehis naughty children,moreover he filial piety to the old person,to repayparents' brought up. In a ord, he alays so good.

Of course he's not a iron man,he also has a fragile, but he never loseself,and perseverance.What's more, hen I meet ith some troubles and ant togive up, he alays encourage me.I still remember hat he told me "perseveranceoveres almost everything.When you fall, perseverance tells you get up.Whenyou are defeated,perseverance tells you to try again .When you feel likequitting, perseverance doesn't let you".

Noadays, I am an adults,and as a college student,I alays unavoidablydepending on my father, I often call to my father to ask some questions,meanhile I also ant to kno ho are they recently I start my college lifefolloed ith my fathers edification.Because of my dear father,I kno hoimportant to be myself.I have to be true to myself, because the only importantthing in life is hat you do ith the time on spend here in earth.So I'll alaysbe optimistic and happy in the folloing time.Also,as my father told me,just beperseverance to do everything.
